When this Black / Tan floated across the ring I could feel the hairs on my back stand on end and I was immediately taken back years to seeing El Khyrias Haztaffer , so it came as no surprise to find that this Danish dog carries many lines back to that great Swedish sire. Just 19 months and still not fully mature in body, he is utterly exciting. Beautiful head, long, clean ,perfectly detailed with correctly placed and shaped eyes, firm underjaw and that ‘look of eagles’ which all the great ones have. Long, strong elegant neck, superb shoulders, good spring of rib, prominent hipbones, the perfect fallaway and tailset, strong bone, big feet, great angulation behind and the most marvellous attitude. His movement is electric - here we have the typical Afghan gait with correct lift and spring and he still covers the ground well. Furthermore he has personality - nothing robot-like about this one, he wants to be noticed and circles the ring without effort, holding his tail defiantly. I was completely swept away with him and gave him the first of what will be many C.C.s I further took him through the breed over a lovely bitch and was thrilled to see him stand 2nd in his first group. A breath taking Afghan who could take on the world.
